The environmental report

Our first environmental report highlights environmental efforts and impacts for 2020, 2021 and 2022. 

The report addresses relevant and significant environmental aspects that are considered important to our business, such as Green-house gas (GHG) emissions, volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, energy use, wateruse and waste generation. 

We pledge to be transparent and open in our communication about our performance - both when it is improving and when it is not.

A Message from our CEO

Our founder, Knud Nygaard, strongly believed that prioritizing the well-being of his employees and building strong relations based on mutual trust and loyalty is a fundamental part of running a successful business.

Jan Nygaard (photo), the son of the founder, confirms that this admirable mindset still guides how we do business today - 50 years later. The NGI buy-back programme

NGI takes responsibility for defining and communicating a new industry standard within hygienic design. We cooperate with and support all business wishing to standardize with certified hygienic components.

Translating this into practice, it means that we will purchase and recycle your old bearings and bearing houses when you replace them with optimized certified hygienic bearings and bearing houses from NGI.

The NGI Code of Conduct

As a global company, NGI A/S has a Code of Conduct (CoC) to support our values, integrity, and way of doing business.
